Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Pepteligence (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information about visitors to pepteligence.com (the “Site”). We have written this policy in plain English. If you have questions that this policy does not address, please contact us at the address below.
Pepteligence is a small, independently operated educational platform. We do not monetise user data. We do not sell or share personal information with advertisers. Our data practices are minimal by design.
What We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you interact with the Site:
Automatically collected
- ·IP address — used for anti-abuse, rate limiting, and anonymised geographic analytics. Not linked to personally identifiable information.
- ·Basic analytics — pages visited, referrer URL, device type (desktop/mobile), browser type, and country. Collected in aggregate. We do not build individual user profiles.
- ·Acceptance cookie — a small cookie to record that you have acknowledged our age gate and disclaimer. This is a functional cookie, not a tracking cookie.
Voluntarily submitted (when features launch)
- ·Email address — if you choose to provide it for submission confirmations or updates. Optional.
- ·Experience reports — structured, anonymous submissions describing your experience with a peptide or protocol. These become part of the public community dataset once published. You do not need to provide your name or any identifying information.
We do not collect names, physical addresses, or phone numbers unless you explicitly provide them. We do not collect health records or clinical data. Any health-related information in experience submissions is voluntarily provided by the user and is treated as user-generated content, not collected health data.
What We Don’t Collect
- ·We do not purchase or receive data about you from third parties.
- ·We do not use cross-site tracking technologies or advertising pixels.
- ·We do not use social login buttons (Facebook, Google, Apple) that would share data with those platforms.
- ·We do not use fingerprinting or other device-identification techniques beyond standard server logs.
- ·We do not collect data from or knowingly about users under age 18.
Cookies
Pepteligence uses two categories of cookies:
Essential cookies
A single cookie records that you have viewed and acknowledged our age gate and disclaimer. This cookie is required for the site to function correctly. It does not track your browsing across other sites and does not contain personally identifiable information.
Analytics cookies
We use anonymised, aggregate analytics to understand how visitors use the Site (e.g., which peptide pages are most viewed). Analytics data is not linked to individual users. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so will not prevent you from accessing any content on the Site.
Third-Party Services
We use a minimal set of third-party services to operate the Site:
- ·Vercel — Hosting and edge network. Processes server logs including IP addresses. Privacy policy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
- ·Supabase — Database for storing experience submissions (when that feature launches). Data is stored in the EU or US region. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy.
- ·Resend — Transactional email for submission confirmations. Processes email addresses provided voluntarily. Privacy policy: resend.com/privacy.
We do not use advertising networks, social media pixels, data brokers, or affiliate tracking services.
Data Retention
- ·Email addresses — retained until you request deletion. Used only for the purpose for which they were provided.
- ·Analytics data — anonymised and aggregated. Retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or re-aggregated.
- ·Experience submissions — retained in accordance with user consent provided at the time of submission. Users may request deletion of their submissions at any time.
- ·Server logs (including IP addresses) — retained for up to 90 days for security and anti-abuse purposes, then deleted.
Your Rights
You may contact us at any time to:
- ·Request a copy of any personal information we hold about you.
- ·Request deletion of your personal information or any experience submissions you have made.
- ·Opt out of any email communications (every email includes an unsubscribe link).
- ·Request correction of inaccurate information.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@pepteligence.com. We will respond within 30 days.
California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide additional rights. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
To submit a California privacy request, contact us at contact@pepteligence.com.
EU / EEA Residents (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our handling of your personal data. Our legal basis for processing analytics data is legitimate interest (operating and improving the Site). For voluntarily submitted information (email, experience reports), our legal basis is consent.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact contact@pepteligence.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Note: Pepteligence’s primary operations are based in the United States. Cross-border data transfer mechanisms will be confirmed at LLC formation and legal review.
Children
Pepteligence is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact contact@pepteligence.com.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include HTTPS encryption for all site traffic, access controls on our database, and minimal data retention periods.
No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not responsible for breaches that result from factors outside our reasonable control.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. For material changes, we will display a notice on the Site and, where we hold your email address, notify you by email. Continued use of the Site after a policy update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
